Poem: You Hypocrites, he loved me more, a man!

I was loved deeply

I was loved whole

He loved me more than for my spirit

He loved me for more than my soul.

Now you praise him for having such beautiful love

Now he is gone,

in heaven above.

You hypocrites!

Because when I changed, you said he would leave me

You even said you would not have blamed him if he had begun to hate me

Yet, he stayed, and now you make him the hero

When he loved me more, a man

I was not his pitty fuck

You hypocrites!

When you found out, he desired me more a man

Then you called him the pervert

Then you called him the freak

You disowned him, too

You would have even laughed if he had found himself alone on the streets

Then you harmed him, too, with your prejudice and hate

You broke his manhood

You hypocrites

No matter who loves me, you say they are “gay”

No matter who desires me, they are a pervert, you say

No matter how I live, you made the rules

That we should all be outcasted

No matter we lose!

You hypocrites

You Sew that Pink Triangle on our pajamas again!

You Left us to die as the straights were freed

To you, we are the pink slime

The slime we see you throw to the streets

And yet, you want to be an “ally”

and not offer us a place to truly call our home

How can you be “welcoming” with no pillow for our own?

If I lost my home,

admit it, you would consider me as good as dead

Admit it

You hypocrites

We live in tents

Broken unlivable houses

Abandoned buildings

I’m luckier than most

I have a house I somehow hold onto

and food to eat

……and yet I educate you for free

Hardly holding on to my home with

a student loan and government assistance

I educate you for F R E E!

……because you all supposedly can’t pay me

and call yourself above me?

Ordained or Ph.D.!

You hypocrites!
