Poem: Don’t you see your lie?

As I walk this world

I never felt so disappointed 

so

lonely 

I use to think it was me

Now I know better

Most of the world’s cultures built on this silly myth about gender

The male and female binary

And you say what they  believed 

long ago

was

myth.

Don’t you see your lie?

Answer me!

I

feel

I

am

shouting

to

a

wall

!
