Poem: One Year of Friendship

Time

is such a strange thing

One year

has flown by so fast

All the seasons

passing by with you each day

Summer

was so miserable hot and here comes the sun again

4832 miles away

But you’re right here with me each day

With just a click

and a mouse away and there you are on my screen

You are the Sun each morning

I am the Moon each night

Fall, Winter, and Spring and now Summer is here again

A Gothic Witch named Rose

And a Bad Movie, Titanic 2 with Jack

I can’t imagine my life without you

You have said you feel the same way

We have found ourselves friends in each other’s hearts forever

Sharing old movies, photos, and music each day

Learning to trust

…..oh so ever slowly

Two wounded broken halves

Knowing that a miracle and two red cardinals

Two angels in heaven

Put us together
