Poem: Never Disrespectful Bodhisattva

I am taught that no matter how rude you are to me

I am to never be a disrespectful Bodhisattva

I am taught that no matter how broken you are and in denial

I am to never be a disrespectful Bodhisattva

I am taught that no matter how angry you become

and

even if you blow your top

I am to never be a disrespectful Bodhisattva

Do you know why?

Because the potential to be Buddha is in all of us

The lost

The rude

The cold

The lonely

The one in a blind rage

Those in denial

The one that walks with death

All of us are Bodhisattva

Not all Bodhisattva are going to be nice

Some will be disrespectful

I will arrive with compassion

anyways

To be so hateful

you are obviously hurting more than me

I will try to never be the

Disrespectful Bodhisattva

Even if you

hurt

me

I have deep compassion for

you

for

you

are

me
