Conchita’s Motto:

“Be the best version of yourself rather than a bad copy of someone else!”

There are very few people in this world that transcend from conformity and glow like Cohchita glows!  Off stage he is  known as Tom Neuwirth, and on stage she transforms into  Conchita Wurst.  So, today I am sharing with you, a person you may want to get familiar with!  I am proud to follow them, on social media, and receive their wisdom they offer to this world.  This is a sample of their encouraging tweets:

As a gender non-conforming person, they have shown me the Human Right of Self-Determination in ACTION.  Here is their web site: Conchita Wurst.  Unlike the bearded woman I have blogged about in the past, Conchita is a gay married man off stage, and transforms into Conchita on stage.

Conchita also has many amazing music videos on YouTube.  The message they send out to this world has helped me more times than I can count, and I thank them!  My life has not been easy, and it is thanks to people like Conchita, that I find much HOPE in this world, and did not end my life.  I hope she can give hope, and inspire others too!

The courage it takes them to step out into this world and literally create themselves a place, absolutely MAGNIFICANT!   I am honored to be on the same planet with this amazing spirit!  I thank them for helping to make this world a better place!  Here is Conchita’s Biography: ‘Two Hearts beating in my chest‘:

Conchita owes her existence to the fact that Tom had been dealing with discrimination all his life. Therefore, he created a woman with a beard – a striking statement and catalyst for discussions about terms like “different” and “normal”, as well as a vehicle to bring his message to the entire world in a clear and unmistakable way.

Appearances, genders and ethnicity do not matter at all when it comes to the dignity and freedom of individuals (or as Austrians would say: “They are WURST”). Tom and Conchita agree that “Only the individual person is important. Everybody should be free to live life as he or she sees fit, as long as nobody gets harmed.”

Below is a video of her performance that won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014.  In this she performs: “Rise Like A Phoenix (Austria) 2014 Eurovision Grand Final”.  I relate to this song, because I have emancipated my true gender, as a gender non-conforming intersex man.  Being that I have been married for over twenty years, we now know appear a gay couple, and this world has become a different place to deal with.  The words of this song resonate and speak to my soul.  Thank you for taking the time to meet the MAGNIFICENT Conchita today:

Rise Like a Phoenix

Waking in the rubble
Walking over glass
Neighbors say we’re trouble
Well that time has passed

Peering from the mirror
No, that isn’t me
Stranger getting nearer
Who can this person be

You wouldnt know me at all today
From the fading light I fly

Rise like a phoenix
Out of the ashes
Seeking rather than vengeance
Retribution
You were warned
Once I’m transformed
Once I’m reborn
You know I will rise like a phoenix
But you’re my flame

Go about your business
Act as if you’re free
Noone could have witnessed
What you did to me

Cause you wouldn’t know me today
And you have got to see
To believe
From the fading light I fly

Rise like a phoenix
Out of the ashes
Seeking rather than vengeance
Retribution
You were warned
Once I’m transformed
Once I’m reborn

I rise up to the sky
You threw me down but
I’m gonna fly

And rise like a phoenix
Out of the ashes
Seeking rather than vengeance
Retribution
You were warned
Once I’m transformed
Once I’m reborn
You know I will rise like a phoenix
But you’re my flame
